Key Power International Opens New Showroom & Outlet Store

News

Judging from the number of runners donning 2XU compression wear at the races we’ve attended, its local distributor, Key Power International (KPI), would probably resonate with some familiarity at the back of many minds. RunSociety has some pleasant news for those who've not already heard: KPI has officially opened its new showroom and outlet store.

Located at 14 Arumugam Road, the showroom cum outlet store is a haven for bargain hunters who wouldn’t mind snapping up past season picks. Of course, the latest product models, some of which have yet to hit stores, will be on display to offer trend followers a sneak peak into upcoming seasons. And we’re not just referring to 2XU. KPI also has distributorship rights to a slew of other sporting labels that include Newton Running, Pearl Izumi, Nathan, Hilly, Ceepo, Mio, Descente, Brooks, Accelerade, Shotz, Trigger Point, Tune Belt and Arm Pocket.

Speaking on KPI’s expansion plans, “The new showroom/outlet store was made to be bigger and better to serve our customers and retailers. This will basically showcase all the new products from our brands as well as past season items where customers may get clearance discounts or promotions,” says Robert Lu, General Manager, KPI. “We are visioned to grow the brand Key Power Sports as one of the leading sports retailer in Singapore and Malaysia by opening more branches to be able to reach to all of our client base. By the end of year 2012, we expect to open two new outlets both in Singapore and Malaysia.”

The new KPI showroom is open to the public on Mondays to Fridays, 11am to 6pm, and on Saturdays, 11am to 5pm. Address is 14 Arumugam Road, #01-01 Lion Building C, Singapore 409959.

Contrary to some preconceptions about out of the way showrooms, KPI’s is rather accessible. Those who drive can exit Paya Lebar along the Pan Island Expressway; the building is just next to Paya Lebar Road. If all else fails, there’s still Google Maps and GPS. Even via public transport, it’s a mere 5-minute walk from Macpherson MRT Station Exit B (Circle Line).

Our advice is don’t procrastinate; not unless you’d like to be left with odd apparel and footwear sizes. When we were down on 14 January, the place was already packed to the brim with price slashes reaching tumultuous proportions. We won’t say how much but let’s put it this way: you won’t leave empty-handed.
