Saturday, 5th May, is on the horizon. If you’ve got plans that day, cancel them. Unless it’s your Mum’s birthday. Otherwise, you owe it to yourself, your body and your mind to show up at Royal Sporting House Tanglin Mall at 7:30 a.m. to register for the Reebok Floatride Running Bootcamp.

How much can Reebok pack into a single morning? An unbelievable amount. In return for your S$160 bootcamp fee, you get a new pair of Reebok Floatride Run Ultraknit running shoes (worth $229!), an event tee worth $30, and the chance to pick up pointers from a couple of Singapore’s leading running experts.

Here’s the skinny:

  • You show up to register at 7:30 a.m. and pick up your priceless stash.
  • From 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., get a dynamic pre-brief before boarding a bus for CCAB.
  • Take part in warm-ups, technical running and interval training until 9:50 a.m.
  • Return to Royal at Tanglin Mall for phase two of this enriching morning.
  • Absorb critical information at an injury prevention seminar designed to safeguard your running future.
  • Ask all the questions you want before things wind down around 10:45 a.m.

Not Your Ordinary Clinic Leaders

Is it possible to cram this much excitement and learning into just one morning? It is if you’ve got the right programme leaders running the show.

You’ll undertake the circuit and interval training at MOE Evans Road Track lead by the one and only Shawn Wee, Head Coach of FWCC, and one of Singapore’s most outstanding athletic educators. Think you push your limits now? Coach Shawn demonstrates ways to train and compete usually reserved for professional athletes.

That injury prevention workshop, run by David Farrelly, could change the way you approach running forever, especially if you already understand the consequences of an injury from personal experience. A member of the Osteopathic Sports Care Association (UK) and Sports Medicine Association Singapore (SMAS), David’s private practice focuses on the treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries, so who better to help you prevent your own before they happen?

Time’s and Slots Running Out

Your chance to get in on this extraordinary morning is quickly coming to an end and opportunities to work with and learn from Shawn and David may not come your way again! Will you miss this one-of-a-kind experience, or will you give yourself the gift of showing up because you deserve it?

We work with our partners to bring insight, meaningful and the latest news, information and updates in the world of running to you in record-breaking fashion.
