The sixth annual Cruise Whitsundays Airlie Beach Running Festival on Sunday, 22 July 2018 is held in one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world.
It is the Whitsunday's premier running event and the largest onshore mass participation event in the region.
The four lap standard 42.2km marathon is run on concrete footpaths and boardwalks and will again be the North Queensland Championships Marathon.
Added to the program this year is the opportunity to enter a 3 person relay team in the 21.1km half marathon and a 3 person corporate team in the 5km event.
The RACQ CQ Rescue Helicopter based in Mackay and the Ronald McDonald House in Townsville will benefit from any proceeds generated by this year's running festival.
