In 2016 it was converted into a trail race and the concept of having obstacles/challenges was added and was labelled as the Antique Half-Marathon Challenge Plus or “HANGAWAY”. Hangaway is a Visayan term for “Warrior.” We are bringing the challenge from road to trail. Warriors will have to earn the rank of a Sumalayhaw (6Km), Hangkilan (14Km) or Busalian (24Km).
