Rallying the community of patients, caregivers and supporters in a Race to Save Lives, the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) will be holding their 7th annual Race Against Cancer (RAC) on Sunday, 13 September.
Sponsored by Singtel, this will be SCS’ flagship fundraising event with proceeds going to the self-funded voluntary welfare organisation’s various work and programmes. These include cancer treatment subsidies, welfare assistance, cancer rehabilitation, hospice care, free cancer screenings, research, and public education and community outreach initiatives.
Following success in previous years, the SingTel Race Against Cancer returned in 2014 for the 6th time this year, with 15km, 10km and 5km distances.
