Jump Rope

Jumping rope is one of the power cardio workouts. Jumping rope challenges your strength, balance and coordination. Plus, jumping rope is an easy workout.

All you need is a skipping rope, and you are good to go. You can do it anywhere, and it is just as effective as a 30-minute jogging workout.

At a moderate pace, you can burn about ten to fifteen calories a minute.


If you want to burn fat for your whole body, especially belly fat, then a burpee is the right one for you. A burpee is an exercise that requires you to go from a push-up position, plank, squat, and then end with standing position.

By doing ten to fifteen reps each set, your body is able to increase the metabolism rate like a 30-second sprint. Burpees can easily burn fat faster than any other exercise.

Attend a spinning class to burn some fat. Doing spinning class two to three times a week may help you to burn calories and lose weight.

A single spinning class can burn between 400 – 600 calories. What you need to do is to hop on the bike, follow your instructor and have fun.

Kickboxing or Boxing

You can’t deny the fact that kickboxing is one of the best cardio workouts. It combines cardio and strength training to help tone your body muscles while burning fat.

Kickboxing is a high-intensity workout for your body to burn fat, which means you’ll be burning tons of calories between 300 to 450 calories in 30 minutes.

Kickboxing also helps you to relieve stress. If you are having a tough day at work, kickboxing is the right workout to release your anger or stress when you are punching a bag or hitting mitts.

Battling ropes

Whipping the battle ropes with your arms is a tough exercise, and you’ll burn twice the amount of fat than a regular cardio workout.

Many people think that whipping the battling ropes couldn’t burn many calories. However, it will burn between 150 to 250 calories in half an hour.

You will be amazed that you will burn more fat, and it’s a fun exercise to incorporate into your workout.

Rock Climbing

Rock climbing is an amazing total body workout. It is a fun workout to burn fat, and it’s no surprise that rock climbing can help you train your strength and endurance. It is also a great aerobic and anaerobic fitness level to new heights.

You may burn about 500 to 900 calories in an hour. Rock climbing mostly works on your arms, back, shoulder and core. You may also invite your friends to join along to train and deepen your bonds.
