Marking May the 4th this year is a two-day fan-led festival and the STAR WARS RUN Singapore on the night of 5th May.

The second edition of STAR WARS RUN Singapore 2018 returns on 5 May 2018, with new elements and a different venue - the F1 Pit Building and the Marina Bay area. Presented by The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia and local race organiser Esprimo, it is a popular event that STAR WARS fans and runner look forward to. With over 15,000 participants in the first edition last year, it has since then become a prominent event on the running calendar in Singapore and the region.

Relive your favourite film series in STAR WARS RUN Singapore 2018!

As a tribute to the iconic brand, on May 4th, fans unite annually to celebrate STAR WARS. The local event oragniser Esprimo and STAR WARS fans, with the support of Singapore Tourism Board will come together and celebrate the second edition of STAR WARS DAY: MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU Festival, on May 4th, Singapore. In conjunction with the STAR WARS Festival, STAR WARS RUN Singapore 2018 will bring a unique event themed around the iconic storyline and characters from franchise. There will be fun activities at the Race Village which includes STAR WARS themed activities, interactions, food and beverages as well as an outdoor movie under the night sky screening STAR WARS movies.

Participants will be able to choose between one of the two routes - to join the Rebellion on the Light side, or to be called to the Dark side. Both of the routes will feature engagement zones that will bring STAR WARS experience to life! There will also be members of the Rebel Alliance and soldiers from the Empire to flag off the Light and Dark side respectively.

New flag-off format and kids running category

Featuring three race categories - from the first 540m Young Jedi Dash to the competitive 10km and non-competitive 5.4km, there is something for everyone of all ages or fitness level.

Runners who joins the non-competitive 5.4km race can also look forward to being part of the unique flag-off where the Light and Dark side participants will run in opposite directions, under the night sky that is lighted up with sensational pyrotechnics display.

What are the prizes?

For runners who desire to be in the top 3, the top 3 for both men and women participating in the 10km category will be awarded a special trophy that is sponsored by the event partner, Royal Selangor, Garmin Forerunner watch (worth up to S$599), and prize money of up to S$1,000. Other finishers for the 10km and 5.4km category will receive a commemorative medal following their category and a finisher t-shirt each.
