80 lucky pairs of women had the enviable opportunity to meet with The Great Eastern Women’s run 2015 #RunToLiveGreat influencers on Saturday 25th July at The Luxe Museum. The influencers were Cheryl Miles, Kelly Latimer and May Wan. Though May Wan couldn’t attend the session, the rest of the influencers were joined by a panel of experts – including 2014 edition’s most inspiring duo, Zann Shoh and her mum Teo Yok Wan, as well as GEWR female pacer, Ranjini Mei Hua – to answer questions from the participants and share their experiences.

At the welcome session, the influencers and panel of experts shared their personal experiences and tips to encourage the participants on how to kick start their fitness journey.

The 2014 inaugural #RuntoLiveGreat programme proved to be a resounding success so this year it’s back again – the 10th edition of the Great Eastern Women’s Run 2015. The #RunToLiveGreat programme encourages non-runners to take that first step towards healthier and better living. The programme will challenge 80 pairs of women to step forth and commit themselves to a healthier lifestyle by attending various training sessions, fringe activities and eventually complete a run of any race distance on race day.

In return, each of the participants will receive a complimentary starter kit worth up to S$350, comprising of an adidas workout T-shirt, a pair of adidas running shoes, a FitBit activity tracker wristband, tailored training plan, Live Great card and all-access to three pre-assigned Great Eastern Women’s Run fringe activities.

Targeting to attract 17,000 participants, the Great Eastern Women’s Run 2015 will flag off at Singapore Flyer and end off at The Float@Marina Bay. Registration for the race is open till 30 September and Early Bird rates will end on 31 July 2015.
