In line with its aim to engage the public with a fun, new challenge, ORTO is organising the inaugural “Beer Run ORTO.” An outdoor event that brings together two familiar pastimes of our favourite patrons – beer-drinking and running.
Inspired by wildly phenomenal “beer mile” events around the world, “Beer Run ORTO,” is not your run-of-the-mill race. The goal is to complete the 1.8 kilometres race route in the fastest possible time. However, participants will be tasked to finish a pint of beer at the half-way mark, before they complete the remaining distance.
Beer lovers who just cannot get enough, can win even more free beer by entering in the “ORTO Beer Run Games.” Following a knockout tournament format, participants must form teams to compete in classic drinking games, Beer Pong and Team Chug, to win beer coupons.
The public can also look forward to live music, beer on tap, and a wide range of delectable dishes during the event and the exciting after-party.
“Beer Run ORTO,” will take place on Saturday, December 17, from 4 p.m. till late. Everyone is welcome to take part in the festivities, but as beer is an alcohol, we will require all event participants be above eighteen years of age.
