Brisbane’s Great South Run on Sunday, 8 April 2018 includes a Half Marathon, 10km & 7km fun runs and Kids 1km at Paradise Road in Algester, Queensland.
This year’s event includes the Queensland Athletics 2018 Half Marathon State Championships. Championship entry is open to all Queensland and Northern NSW registered Qrun and Queensland Athletics club members.
All events start on Paradise Road (access via Col Bennett Park) and trace their way through a scenic, shady bushland setting alongside Oxley Creek on newly surfaced roads.
Now in its third year, Brisbane’s Great South Run is one of the fastest IAAF-AIMS certified courses in South East Queensland. The 2017 event attracted 1300 local, interstate and overseas competitors with many setting personal bests.
