Yes, Mr Hurt is once again knocking on the door.
To begin off, the previous 2018 edition was indeed a tough one. However, everyone survived it. Not all completed, but all came out albeit a bit scratched and battered, which is most important as there’s a saying “If it doesn’t kill you, it’ll only make you stronger”.
Did it make your other similar events throughout 2018 looked easy/easier? Oh, and it’s ok to cry when the going has gone too tough. Just bear in mind when the face of adversity looms over you, there is always a ray of light if we look hard enough.
Anyways the 2018 run course is a keeper. We will use it again in the future.
For the 2019 edition, we have combined the 2017 and 2018 course to give a more diverse runners experience. Kiara has all the good ups, easy ups, touch-ups, and then the fast downs, technical downs, curvy downs. Kiara always delivers.
For the NR Heat Tone Conquer the Trails event, an approximately 15km of running awaits you. The elevation is about 650 meters. Lower than 2018, but hey, we don’t Conquer what is easy.
Anyways it’s easier said than done. So come on out and put this Conquest on your palmares. Kiara, it makes other conquests look easy.
And so it seems.
We will kick off 2019 with an additional event – The NR Heat Tone Classics de Kiara. A 3 looper run distance (around 42 – 43km) of the Conquer loop but with a twist. One of the loops will be in opposite direction to lift the boredom. And hopefully, it’s more scenic.
The Classics are restricted to 200 entries only.
