Registration is now open for the third edition of the Hong Kong Golf Club Charity Ultra Marathon, one of the most popular events of Hong Kong’s winter running circuit. Taking place on 26th and 27th January 2019, over 1,000 running enthusiasts are expected to participate across eight categories at the picturesque old course in Fanling, one of the most historical golf courses in the world.
Inaugurated in 2017, the charity run has attracted members of the public from all walks of life to enjoy two fun days exercising around the 2.3km golf buggy route around the old course under spectacular greenery, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
In addition to the 24-hour, 12-hours, and 6-hour categories for the ultra-marathon and endurance runners on Saturday 26th January, the following day will see the return of popular categories such as Parent-Child Run, Corporate Team Challenge, and School Invitational, while a Pets Fun Run will make its debut at the Hong Kong Golf Club. Individual Open Races complete a packed weekend race schedule for running enthusiasts of Hong Kong who actively seek out new and different running experiences.
