ISKANDAR PUTERI NIGHT MARATHON 2017 is an ANNUAL international marathon event designated to promote Iskandar Puteri and the State of Johor to the world. Featuring spectacular courses in iconic destinations, Iskandar Puteri Night Marathon events focus on delivering the race of a lifetime to athletes of all ages and abilities, and creating a memorable spectator experience that captures all the excitement and emotion of this inspirational sport. The Iskandar Puteri Night Marathon 2017 opens 4 different distance race to men and women. The top 10 winners will be rewarded with prize money.
The courses will take runners around the Medini area which boasts its newly-built EduCity and Johor’s sports hub constructed while maintaining the natural tropical environment of the state. Runners will also pass Legoland Malaysia, along undulating roads with low rise and fall that will offer runners a more exciting run and the chance to clock better times. A loop course, along flat, tree-lined streets that surround Johor’s new administrative centre featuring a collection of architecturally aesthetic structures surrounded by natural green landscapes ideal for outdoor sports. The race will start and end at Dataran Mahkota, Kota Iskandar, Iskandar Puteri, Johor where fans and family will be waiting to cheer their loved ones to the finish line.
