Village / La Jelsa Roaming Run is a running sports event which is the iconic running event in the Madiun Regency area. La Jelsa is only held once in 2 years.
The first trial conducted by AERUN in May 2016 titled Lari Desa Ke Desa / LDKD is located in Gunungsari Village, Kec. Madiun, Kab. Madiun attended as many as 212 participants and travelled a distance of 5K.
La Jelsa 2017 takes a distance of 12K through the asphalt road, makadam road, dirt road/paddy field, crossing the river and along the thick bushes in the teak forest area with typical hillside slopes and derivatives. The location of La Jelsa 2017 is in Brumbun Village, Kec. Wungu, Kab. Madiun, attended by 1,200 participants from 18 provinces.
In addition to being a sports event, La Jelsa 2019 will be combined with tourism activities and cultural arts to introduce the potential of tourism and tourist destinations in the Madiun Regency.
