“Lung Cancer Awareness Charity Run 2018 with the theme of Love Lung, Love Life is a charity drive organised by EMPOWERED-The Cancer Advocacy Society of Malaysia, with the following objectives:
- To raise awareness about the many types of lung cancer, recent evolution in diagnostics, therapeutics and prevention.
- To work in collaboration with governmental and non-governmental organisations to promote smoke-free public and workplaces.
- To encourage and educate the public to achieve healthy lungs and active lifestyles.
- To raise sufficient funds to allow ongoing implementation of our grassroots cancer screening and treatment projects, so as to allow an increasing number of underprivileged communities throughout Malaysia to have their basic right to fight against cancer.
Besides running with hundreds of people, there will be lucky draws, exhibitions, performances, food booths and a lots more waiting for you! Let’s spend a meaningful and healthy weekend with your beloved friends and family while contributing to charity.
The categories available are 3.5km and 7km.
