It is an exciting year ahead as for once our design is reflective of narratives on women. This year we teamed up with one of Malaysia’s highly regarded artist Habsah Abang Saufi* to encapsulate the theme an “Ode to Women”. We recreated her painting from a series of her work called “Wanita” and used it onto for our event t-shirt. This dedication is wonderfully apt for a women’s event such as ours as we hope that this theme will recollect our stand towards an issue that we are proud to be associated with, Gender Equality.
And as if this isn’t exciting enough, we want to tell you that we have also teamed up with Swarovzki Malaysia to produce a medal that will embellish crystals from Swarozvki. We can’t wait to hand this medals to you at the finish line!
Though we included these extra plush entitlements, we are also introducing a No frills package for participants whereby they can opt to have the least entitlement for a cheaper registration fee. Check it out in the entitlement selection!
Another good news for full marathon registration! Any participants whilst during the race can opt to complete their run at 30km! Yes, you heard it, you can stop at 30km if you intend too wherein, you will still receive your entitlement (if you have opted for it) through your certificate will indicate your completion for a shorter distance.
Lastly, the venue of MWM changes to Petaling Jaya!!! See you in PJ on the 3rd of March 2019!!!!
