Puffing Billy’s Great Train Race on Sunday, 29 April 2018 is a 13.5km race against the iconic Puffing Billy Train through the Dandenong Ranges starting from Belgrave, Victoria.
Discover the wonder and awe of this running event in Melbourne’s Dandenong Ranges, now in its 37th year. The race route takes runners through fernglades and hills, along tarmac roads and multi-purpose trails competing against Australia’s favourite steam engine.
The Great Train Race is an annual fundraiser for the Puffing Billy Preservation Society – 2018’s contribution will go towards the Menzies Creek Museum redevelopment project.
