The spirit to organize the Rising Jubilee Run is to enhance interaction among the people of Singapore and the people of Indonesia as so to bond a closer and stronger tie.
50 years after the establishment of a bilateral relation between Indonesia and Singapore, both countries agree that much has been achieved and gained. The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore came up with the initiative to organise a Fun Run as a people-to-people venue that will allow the people of Singapore and people of Indonesia to interact and engage closer.
Men sana in corpore sano – the idea of a Fun Run is to remind the citizen of both nations on the hardship and achievements of the past 50 years of bilateral relations as well as enhance the interaction and cultural exchange of both countries by the means of bonding through a run event and a festive carnival for the people.
