It’s never too early to make plans for 2019, especially for a good cause, so pencil in the 17th of February in your 2019 calendar and join Run for Hope at the Singapore Sports Hub, OCBC Square! Run for Hope features two distances, 3.5km and 10km, for both the new and the avid runner, young and old to join.
In its 26th year in Singapore this year, Run for Hope is an annual, non-competitive run organised by Four Seasons Hotel Singapore and the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) to raise awareness and support for vital cancer research.
One Singaporean is diagnosed with cancer every hour. However, over the past 40 years, survival rates for cancer patients in Singapore have tripled for men and doubled for women. This is thanks to the great progress cancer research has made.
NCCS is leading innovative research to find the breakthroughs that will change how we understand, diagnose, treat and ultimately cure cancer to Make More Survivors.
