The 9th edition of Run For Light 2024 (RFL) – Inspiring Lives Without Sight – is eagerly anticipated to make its debut at the scenic Pasir Ris Park on Saturday, 30 March 2024, at 5:00 PM. Upholding its commitment to Guide Dogs Singapore Ltd (GDS), this event, for the ninth consecutive year, supports the important cause of aiding visually impaired individuals.
This annual running event will commence with a symbolic 1KM blindfold walk, led by guide dogs and the GDS team, to raise awareness for the visually impaired. This meaningful start is followed by a 5KM fun run and a 10KM competitive run. The top five fastest men and women in the 10KM race will be rewarded with exciting prizes and trophies.
Since its inception, Run For Light 2024 has been dedicated to building community spirit and support for the visually challenged. Through various campaigns and roadshows leading up to the event, we aim to unite the community in understanding and aiding the visually impaired in meaningful ways.
