RunNUS is organised by the NUS Students? Sports Club (NUSSSC) to generate interest in sporting events and to promote a healthy lifestyle among the NUS population and the community at large. Already in its ninth year, RunNUS is the largest and the most anticipated annual running event for NUS alumni, students and staff. The race is open to both the NUS community and the public.
Since 2010, RunNUS has supported the NUS Annual Giving campaign, an annual campaign that aims to raise funds for student support. Net proceeds from runners’ fees, and individual pledges support University-wide bursaries for NUS students in financial need.
In RunNUS 2014, more than two thousand runners participated in the race and raised over $23,000 for student bursaries.
