Trail running is usually synonymous with undulating dirt terrain – unpaved surfaces “carved” out through constant treading activity. Stretching the association on a lateral note, it also involves being immersed in nature. The sight of greenery; the smell of fresh air; the sounds of crickets and birds chirping; they can be experienced in peri-urban areas too. Presenting the inaugural Salomon Tiong Bahru Urban Trail Run where man-made paths intertwine with the surroundings of Mother Nature – stretching across Singapore’s Marang Trail to Henderson Wave.
