Sarong Run 2018 will be held at Alor Gajah Square on the 28 of July. It is a 5km open event for men and women. Runners will get a t-shirt, medal, woven bag and goodies in their running kit. Let’s come together and show your support besides having fun running in Sarong – as this activities is aim to promoting Batik as our national heritage.
The excess contribution from participation fees and sponsors will be funded to the foundations and community associated with ecotourism and eco-culture in Melaka. Wear your batik, sarong, kain pelekat or songket by wrapping it around your waist, have a twist by wrap it like turban on your head, or you can also make it as acessories by putting in on your shoulder.
