Singapore aims to be an inclusive society but while there are people with disabilities among us, not all are included in the activities of our community living.
The inaugural SPD Ability Fun Walk serves to promote inclusion by providing an opportunity for both members of the public and people of different abilities to walk together and to raise funds for people with disabilities (PWDs). There will be food and games at a post-walk carnival which aims to allow participants and the community to know more about disability issues.
This is a fundraising event where all funds raised will be channelled to over 5,000 people with disabilities served through the programmes and services offered by SPD.
