Sundown Marathon injected a jolt of energy into Singapore’s running scene when it became the nation’s first night marathon in 2008, and the event hasn’t looked back since. From a humble attendance of just over 6,000 in the initial race, Sundown Marathon’s registration is expected to reach 30,000 for the second straight year in 2014, making it Asia’s largest night marathon. Sundown Marathon returns this year with a bold new theme: BRING ON THE NIGHT. With three race categories – 10km, half marathon and full marathon – Sundown Marathon gives runners the chance to step out of their comfort zone and challenge their limits, whether they are hardcore runners or casual fans. The 2014 edition will continue to entertain runners, supporters and spectators with a line-up of activities such as a movie marathon under the stars, accompanied by a huge selection of food and snacks at a food and beverage village, live band performances and other highlights.
