THG Colour Run is a charity run being organized by The Little Fingers a team from The Humble Guardians which is an NGO formed by the Part Time MBA students under the Graduate School of Business UKM. The main purpose of this run is to generate funds in order to buy medical appliances for the under privilege kids from the age of 1 to 17 years old. All profits that are gained from the run will be donated to the Persatuan Kanak-Kanak Istimewa Kajang , Special Children Society of Ampang, Rumah Amal Cheshire Selangor and Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Klang.
THG Colour Run is a non competitive fun run which gives you a long, and continuous natural greenery climate along the 5km routes of MAEPS Serdang. Our intention is to change the mindset of people out there that doing CHARITY IS ALSO FUN.
Its is gonna be a run filled with colours as our Event Crew will be throwing out colours in every kilometers of the run with 5 different colour powders. To make the event merrier, each participant will be handed with 5 colour packets for our after-run celebration filled with music, and dance. Not only that, participants are able to fill their hungry tummies with various types of food and eateries at our Food Truck, and entertain the little ones with other exciting activities during the run as well. While our 5km run is all about having fun, we also focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle. More than half of our participants are first-time 5km runners and the event is making a headway on the national focus of improving health and wellness.
We hope that THG Colour Run will be able to act as a catalyst for our participants to live a healthy lifestyle and at the same time participate actively in a noble cause like us. With no winners or official times, The Colour Run caters to everyone—first time runners to seasoned athletes. Some Colour Runners participate as a celebration and capstone of their healthy living accomplishments, while others participate for reasons unique to them. What are you running for?
