About the race
The second edition of the Total Defence Online Race 2020 serves to Singaporeans as a reminder to strengthen our resolve to keep Singapore safe, secure, and sovereign. With a wider range of challenges and threats facing Singapore, we must stay united to defend Singapore well in the six pillars of total defence: Military Defence, Civil Defence, Economic Defence, Social Defence, Psychological Defence and Digital Defence.
Singaporeans must have the will to defend Singapore, so let’s start by running together with a 7.8km run, to commemorate the 78th anniversary of the surrender of the British to the Japanese on 15 February 1942.
