Ang Mo Kio Wayfinder
Held on the 15th of March 2015, this is our third Urban Wayfinder Race Series.
Once again, the theme of the race was built on it being No-frills and simply allowed the community to try out Orienteering on their own? be it as a solo runner or with their family and friends.
In this race, we are happy to have established a supportive community of Orienteers who have followed us from our first Urban Wayfinder up till date. These Orienteers come from all walks of life and from various nationalities as well!
Moving aside of these regular runners, we also saw plenty of new faces who joined us for this race. There were couples and even families with their young ones in tow.
The race map sequence was also updated as it gave racers a visual threat of running on concrete terrain before eventually conquering a small hill atop Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West. This ?Best of Both Worlds? taster provided the competitive runners and leisure runners the race kick that they were each looking for.
