The second instalment of the Hello Kitty Run Singapore flagged off yesterday at 5 p.m. together with 11,000 participants at The Float@Marina Bay. This year’s run was arranged as a night run as the excited participants were energised with artificial snow as they went off to complete the 5 km run route.

Dressed in Christmas-themed outfits, the Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel mascots flagged off five waves of runners with air-kisses and selfies, pumping up the festive mood among the ecstatic crowd.

To allow the participants to experience the occasion of Christmas with their family and friends, four unique zones were scattered along the race route, the UV Zone, Starry Night, Jingles and Snow Zone. Each zone presented participants with wonderful photo opportunities from the beautifully designed elements and the Singapore city skyline with iconic landmarks set against the sunset.

Each participant received a limited-edition specially designed Hello Kitty finisher medal as they completed the race, and after the race, families and friends gathered at the Christmas Carnival at The Float@Marina Bay to enjoy fun carnival games, as well as food and beverages.
