What happens when you mash fashion with fitness? The result is a trendy, fashionable, and innovative pair of running shoes. Looking at these shoes really makes one get off that couch and GOrun.

SKECHERS’ latest GOrun Ride is a slightly beefed up version of GOrun. The Ride version has a 4mm drop, instead of zero, with a more cushioned midsole. The pods on the outsole have been made more stable and less aggressive. This makes the shoe just as accessible for heel strikers.

The upper is flexible and lightweight. This beauty weighs in at only 221g. It is a great pair for training before you switch to GObionic or GOrun on race day.

The GOrun series was awarded “The Most Innovative Shoes” in COMPETITIOR, and “The Most Innovative Award Winner” in Women’s Running.

Although SKECHERS has been working with numerous celebrities to build its fashionable image, it speaks a lot of the brand and technology to be endorsed by Meb Keflezighi, US marathon star. He wore the newest GOrun to win the US Olympic Marathon trial and achieved a personal best of 2:09:08.

This year, SKECHERS has also refreshed its GOBionic and GO Train running shoes.

The GO Train is a workout shoe built for added stability and control. It offers a stable platform during exercise with its wide foundation and foot sitting LOW-TO-GROUND design. The M-Strike Technology is aligned to SKECHERS’ philosophy promoting midfoot strike. It caters for gym and fitness training like Zumba, TRX, or Cross Fit.

GOBionic (men)
Weight: 173grams Retail Price: $169
GOBionic (men)

As mentioned, the GOBionic is suitable to be a race day shoe. With zero-drop, the shape of the outsole is gently curved to encourage a midfoot strike. The outsole is also split into 16 sections that move individually to better support the bones in your feet. Like an extension of your body, the outsole is highly responsive for unlimited motion.

First Concept Store Opening

The SKECHERS GO series are available for men and women. Visit SKECHERS’ 1st worldwide new concept store at ION Orchard, Singapore. With clear presentation, you can easily find a pair that suits your needs and personality from the wide extensive ranges.

SKECHERS Asean General Manager Susan Chua reinforces that the technology promotes midfoot strike that helps to transform impact into reusable energy. It is the key to efficient running.

I think it is about time we all head out and GOrun.

I am a writer by day, an athlete by night. I love running at night because the streets just become so quiet and peaceful. My active lifestyle includes running, swimming and a passion for soccer. I have completed a few marathons and I enjoy other races like biathlons and urbanthlons. The only reason why I don't do triathlons is bikes are too expensive!
