With marathon running in the city becoming an increasingly popular citizen sport in Singapore and other major Asian cities, devices that use GPS technology to accurately track speed and distance are in hot demand. Soleus GPS 2.0 – High Performance GPS Technology

The Soleus GPS 2.0 offers GPS watch essentials of distance, pace or speed, time and calorie counter, as well as 100-lap data storage and a 1/100 chronograph. With the interval timer feature, you can set up to five individual training timers for your workouts, and then transfer the run data via USB to Soleus software to track your training accurately and efficiently.

The battery life is eight hours in continuous GPS mode. With the GPS mode off, the watches will function like regular sports watches, making them suitable for both professional and casual active lifestyle consumers.

The watch face features a large viewing area and sizeable digits so that viewing data while on the go is easy. Tipping the scales at just 2 ounces, it is the most compact and lightweight GPS watch in the market today.

The Soleus GPS 3.0 watch includes all the same features as the Soleus GPS 2.0 watch, but with the addition of a heart rate monitor, complete with chest strap transmitter.

With the Soleus GPS 3.0, you also get the massive benefit of heart rate data to give your workouts an extra dimension. This is especially useful during trail running, where you are exploring new, unfamiliar territory, and you need to know the level your heart is working at. The watch functions as a virtual coach by informing you when to safely step up the pace or whether there’s a need to slow down.
