We’ve heard you. After months of hounding from our loyal readers (thank the gregarious few), the triathlon spin-off has finally taken shape in the form of Trititude. Don’t think we need to elaborate what it stands for. The name is what it is.

A new home for local triathletes

Truth be told, although Team RunSociety slogged really hard to make your “dreams” a reality, we’re in a similar tizzy as all you triathletes out there. For one, MetaSport’s agreed to a fortnightly column contribution, delving into the science and practicalities of triathlon training, race wear, and God knows what other mesmerising expert advice they have in their books. The least we could do was to offer them a space of their own within the publication, and so we have.

Looks familiar doesn't it?

The parallels Trititude has with RunSociety are just about analogous. Well, The Event Calendar’s been brought over with dedicated ditto event profiles; only difference is we’re looking to expand our reach beyond the shores of mainland Singapore to the rest of Asia (possibly Australia if we amass enough resources via advertising support).

You can also look forward to reading “necessities” in the likes of News, Interviews and Gear Reviews – segmented into Wear, Accessories & Supplements, and Bikes. The tri-mentality calls for an enhanced performance focus; something we’re actively seeking to improve day in day out. Look out for our Health and Training tags too.

For convenience sake, we’ve slotted Trititude banner links at the top and sidebar of RunSociety’s homepage that will allow users to navigate between sites with ease, vice versa. Show some love! You don’t have to be a triathlete to ‘Like’ Trititude. On the contrary, we hope the sweat we put into it would in turn spur you to take up new challenges. Happy exploring!

Years back, seeds were sown when Shaun undertook a marketing communications role at a Singapore-based sports distributorship. There, a couple of international sporting brands fell under his purview. He's made the decision to migrate to the receiving end since, placing himself right at the heart of true competition.
