What to Expect at the 7-Eleven Run 2026 Singapore

Set at Marina Barrage, this year’s event builds on the traditional fun run concept with a few interactive additions. We have kept the popular elements from previous runs and introduced new missions and zones.

Here is a breakdown of the race categories and what you can expect on race day:

The highly anticipated 7-Eleven Quest features brand-new missions, interactive zones, and hidden checkpoints across the city.

1. The 7-Eleven Quest: A City-Wide Scavenger Hunt

For those who prefer a little mystery with their mileage, the 7-Eleven Quest is returning with new missions and checkpoints. This interactive challenge tests both your endurance and your navigation skills.

The catch? You won’t know your exact route until flag-off. At the starting line, each team will receive one of the two surprise quest maps. You and your squad will need to solve clues and find hidden checkpoints along the way. It’s a great option for friends and colleagues who want to combine an 8 to 10KM workout with a scavenger hunt through the city.

Gather your squad and bring your best energy! Teamwork is key as you navigate the city and solve interactive clues together.

2. The New 1.6KM Parents & Kids Fun Run

A new addition for 2026 is the 1.6KM Parents & Kids Fun Run. Designed specifically for families, this short course is all about taking it easy and enjoying the morning.

Since running with young children is usually more about the experience than the timing, this category focuses entirely on a stress-free environment. The route features interactive zones and mascot appearances to keep the kids entertained from start to finish. It is a simple, engaging way to get the family moving together by the water.

Race Entitlements & Blind Box Merchandise

A good run comes with solid, practical perks. This year, every participant will receive a Visor Blind Box in their race kit. Instead of a standard event cap, each visor comes with a surprise design, making it fun to compare your drops with friends to see who got which style.

Alongside the visor, runners will receive the official event apparel, a finisher medal, and a goodie bag packed with classic 7-Eleven snacks and drinks.

The Post-Run Carnival at Marina Barrage

The event doesn’t end when you cross the finish line. Marina Barrage offers a great open space to wind down after your run.

Hang out at the post-run carnival, where you can find interactive games, merchandise booths. It is a relaxed, open environment to catch your breath on the green roof, hang out with your running buddies, and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Essential Preparation Tips for Race Day

To ensure you have the best possible experience at the 7-Eleven Run 2026, keep these preparation tips in mind:

  • Train for the Distance: If you are tackling the 7-Eleven Quest, remember that you will be covering roughly 8 to 10KM. Mix some steady-state cardio with interval training to prepare for the start-and-stop nature of a scavenger hunt.
  • Strategise Your Quest: For Quest participants, teamwork makes the dream work. Assign roles—have one person be the navigator using the quest map, while others focus on solving the checkpoint clues.
  • Hydrate Smartly: Singapore’s humidity is no joke, especially during an outdoor event. Hydrate well in the days leading up to the run, and take advantage of the hydration stations along the route.
  • Arrive Early: With the massive turnout expected at Marina Barrage, plan to arrive at least 45 minutes before your flag-off time. This gives you plenty of time to deposit your bags, soak in the pre-race atmosphere, and get a good warm-up in.

Whether you are unboxing a surprise visor, tracking down a secret checkpoint, or watching your child high-five a mascot on the 1.6KM route, this is an event designed to create lasting memories.
