Project Love Sneaker started way back in 2010. It was observed that regular runners replace their running shoes after using them for certain mileage, typically 600 to 800km. Most of these shoes are still in good condition, thus disposing them is a wasteful act.

Running Lab decided to kickstart a project that encourages runners to donate the used shoes to make a difference to the lives of the less fortunate.

The response from the public has been growing consistently year after year, from 960 pairs in 2010 to 2,300 pairs in 2016. This year, Running Lab hopes to collect 2,500 pairs of shoes to help as many less fortunate individuals as possible.

Calling All Shoe Owners Who Want to Make a Difference

If you have any running shoes that you don’t want to use anymore and are contemplating to throw away, consider donating them during the donation drive, which will be held from 1 to 30 April 2017 at all Running Lab stores.

  • Running Lab Marina, #02-26 Marina Square
  • Running Lab Novena, #01-47 Velocity@Novena Square
  • Running Lab Tampines, #02-16B/16C Tampines Mall

Donate your used running shoes in clean and re-usable condition and receive a $50 voucher which you can use to buy yourself a new pair of running shoes.

All shoes received by Running Lab will be donated to social service organisations under Community Chest, such as AWWA, Delta Senior School, Christian Outreach to the Handicapped, SPD and many more.

Sometimes a small thing you do can mean everything in another person’s life. Will you donate?
