The Butterfly Run hopes to raise awareness of the condition of EB and to show support to the sufferers and their caregivers. Proceeds raised will go towards co-funding treatment of sufferers in Singapore and towards education of healthcare providers in this area. Participants are encouraged to proceed the themed run while putting on a beautiful pair of butterfly wings provided upon registration for either a 2km or 5km fun run. Not only will participants walk away with new insights about EB but also wonderful memories to kickstart 2020 while doing good work and paying it forward!
The evening will be rounded up by a park light-up session where all butterfly runners donned in wings will light Bedok Reservoir up with a sea of red to signify their support for this meaningful event.
