Central Celebes Marathon is a sports tourism event held to commemorate the 54th anniversary of Central Sulawesi Province on 13 April. While Central Celebes Marathon 2018 will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018, in the city of Palu (Capital of Central Sulawesi).
Target participants who will take part in this event are expected to be no less than 1,500 people consisting of national, international and regional athletes. Athletes will compete in the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon 21K and Full Marathon 42K categories. Central Celebes Marathon 2018 set up a cash bonus of hundreds of millions of rupiah for the winners. Through this event, will also promote the culinary, nature and marine tourism of Central Sulawesi to participants and spectators who come from areas in Indonesia and abroad.
