Violence is impacting our communities in Singapore. A recent survey by The Strait Times found that 3 out 10 have experienced family violence and almost half didn’t know what to do if affected by violence, or how to get help for a victim of violence.
We hope to change this.
Footsteps To Inspire – Let Our Voice Run is a special virtual run and week-long campaign during 16 days of Activism to strengthen our communities, raise awareness and build connectedness through listening to voices affected by violence – with a particular focus on sexual violence.
Everyone around the world can join us on 6 December for this virtual run in Singapore (race packs are only available in Singapore) and help our local charity partner Singapore LCCS provide restorative healing to survivors of violence and our communities.
You are warmly invited to also join our awareness events during this week-long campaign. If you are a survivor, you will find a safe space to be heard. If you are a concerned citizen, you will find tools and resources to help those affected by violence.
