Phukethon is Asia’s major international marathon festival, first time ever in Thailand, that welcome all runners from around the world in term of sport tourism. At Phukethon, there will be variety kinds of festival activities, there will be international marathon running distances; 42.195 km, 21.1 km, 10 km, which the courses are certified by Athletic Association of Thailand (AAT), Asian Athletics Association (AAA), and International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).
On top of that, there will also be the runtainment program; such as jelly beach run 5 km, and fun run – colour fun run, and running expo with more than 80 international sports brands, music festival and food festival in the concept of fisherman village, all gathered together in phuket for the first time for 3 consecutive days from december 8-10 at the saphan hin park, a seaside park with a long history and a symbol of phuket island.
