An international scale running event will be held again in Pontianak, West Borneo, Indonesia in February 2020. This event made by Lari.id had success in February 2019, attended by 4000 participants who filled the Kapuas River Square and in the coming year it is hoped that success will be repeated.
In the upcoming event, Pontianak City Run changed its name to Pontianak City Run Half Marathon 2020. In accordance with its name change, #PCR2020 presents the 21K half marathon category which is expected to be a new achievement for runners in West Borneo, outside the island of Borneo and even abroad.
Pontianak City Run Half Marathon 2020 opens registration with 4 categories, namely Kids 1K, Students 5K for ages 12-18 years, 5K Open that can be followed by the public and 21K Open that can be followed by the public both locally and abroad.
As the first half marathon event in Pontianak, #PCR2020 is trying to give the best with a podium prize that is competitive enough for the winners of each category, both male and female.
“The selection of 02-02-2020 is considered a good date to hold the Pontianak City Run Half Marathon 2020. We are trying to prepare everything well, especially in terms of race, because this is the first half marathon in Pontianak. Our medal for finisher is made from the characteristic of Pontianak city, if in 2019 it is Hornbill, in 2020 there will be a picture of Siluk or Arowana.” said a RO member from Lari.id.
“Currently we have opened an online registration with an early bird promo ticket price, the slots are also limited, the payment system from the run.id platform has also been better, making it easier for participants in terms of registration.
