TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS 2027

Cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge and finish at the Sydney Opera House. The TCS Sydney Marathon, presented by ASICS, is one of the Abbott World Marathon Majors and the only one in the Southern Hemisphere — about eight hours from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, run in cool late-winter conditions.

The 2027 ballot is open from 29 September to 19 October 2026 and closes at 7am SGT. Entry is free — the fee is charged only if your name is drawn in the random draw, with results emailed on 3 November 2026.

Race day is Sunday 29 August 2027, flagging off at 6:30am from Miller Street, North Sydney.

Start on Miller Street, North Sydney, cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge, loop through Centennial Park and past Mrs Macquarie's Chair, finish at the Sydney Opera House. Elevation gain 313m, net drop 83m.
