About the race
We are excited to put together 3 disciplines and present TriFam Sprint Triathlon 2016! This multi-sport challenge is happening 9-11 December 2016 at Turi Beach Resort in Batam, Indonesia!
Look forward to a day of sporting fun and achievement as you race through the tropical Riau Islands amidst breath-taking landscapes and fine beaches.
It doesn’t matter whether you are a seasoned triathlete, a young athlete or a beginner who is eager to taste victory in this multi-sport adventure, there’s something for everybody!

The Trifam was founded in 2004 by a group of enthusiastic triathletes who seek the company of training together and created as a fun gathering for the like-minded, the group evolve into a Triathlon Forum prior to the days of FaceBook! Similarly, this was a fun event to have the more seasoned athlete’s to impart some knowledge and “tri” skills to the newbies. The race was never about the competition but instead on the “Family” atmosphere of friends and family.
