Prominent for his knowledge in Franco-Asian cuisine, Singaporean celebrity chef Justin Quek will be rolling out a series of limited-time-only, exclusive menu items in collaboration with Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe. Chef Justin is one of Asia’s most internationally celebrated chefs with consumers who lionise his restaurants overseas, such as from China, Taiwan and including Singapore.

Starting this December, each dish in the collaborative series will be available for a limited period of time, with the first launched on 13th December 2018 and thereafter available in selected Xin Wang Hong Kong Café outlets around Singapore.

This menu series will feature a curation of new recipes crafted by Chef himself, showcasing the charms of both the east and the west. Each dish is inspired by his culinary expertise and travel experiences while implementing a refreshing twist to what Singaporeans already admire about Hong Kong’s café culture. Additionally, rigorous taste tests with Quek’s team of chefs was subjected to ensure the finest balance in taste, portion and presentation for all consumers to feast upon.

The first instalment in this series includes a quintessentially Hong Kong experience, including two mains and one dessert:

Despite introducing the exclusive menu, this launch is also part of a larger collaboration series with The Minor Food Group Singapore, a Singapore-owned F&B group behind the brains of ThaiExpress, Poulet and Go Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice.

Thus, Chef Justin will be laying down his skills into other variety of dishes within select dining concepts under the group with the next instalment of the menu series kicking off at Poulet around January 2019 next year.

Chef Justin Quek exclaimed:

I’m thrilled to be given the opportunity to craft this dining experience with The Minor Food Group Singapore, to bring both my culinary and travel experience together to life through the dishes I’ll be creating. Xin Wang is a well-loved F&B concept, and my goal is to continue to drive the brand love through these innovative dishes, combined with my expertise in ingredient sourcing to bring high-quality, tasty, affordable dishes that I know people will love.

Chairman and CEO of The Minor Food Group Singapore, Mr Dellen Soh added:

We’re honoured to have Chef Justin on board for our F&B concept. With Chef Justin’s deep expertise and understanding of the Asian cuisine, I’m proud to say his upcoming creations will be equal parts drool-worthy and comforting for all, and an exciting addition to our menu lineup.

Chef Justin’s collaboration dishes will be available at the following 15 Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafés from 13th December 2018 onwards, in four phases:

  • Week of 13th December 2018: Plaza Singapura, AMK Hub, Changi Airport T3, West Coast Plaza
