Are you so busy that you don’t have time to even prepare your own salad? Or are you interested to try out a fulfilling yet healthy salad? Don’t worry because Singapore-based Spinacas will do all the work for you and deliver the tasty salads straight to your doorstep. Forget about a messy kitchen and hassle grocery shopping, now you can just click, wait and enjoy your favourite salads with ease.

Spinacas, a salad delivery store founded by Phyllis Chua and Ng Wei Lieh has been serving customers in Singapore since June 2014. Phyllis’ concept of healthy salad delivery was inspired by a trip to Europe when she discovered healthy good food as a way of life.

She realised that fresh whole produce and readily available meats can be used in the salads to create a nutritious yet hearty taste. Despite several attempts to create the perfect flavour combination with more cooked meat, she finally managed to do it after much testing by her friends.

That is how Spinacas, Hearty Salads Delivered, was born. Derived from the Spanish name for spinach, they believe in making both the order and deliver process as simple and convenient as possible for their customers. She can be seen making healthy deliveries around town on her red Vespa scooter and has plans to expand Spinacas services as demands increase.

You get to choose your salads and size, preferred delivery date, time and location, then pay online and wait for the delivery. If your order is less than S$30 or you are unfortunately at some non delivery location, you can drop by their centrally located kitchen just outside the CBD at Pearl’s Hill Terrace for a personal pickup.

If you wish to enjoy tasty and hearty salads with your friends and colleagues, you can also purchase gift cards on the user-friendly site. The gift card code will be sent to you for immediate use.

If you can’t decide what type of salad to have, use the comprehensive FAQs and customer reviews for each salad to assist you or try their best seller Moroccan Spiced Chicken or BBQ Pulled Pork.

Alternatively you can check out their new expanded menu which offers 3 categories of flavourful specialty meat salads which are Classic, Premium and Meat Lover.

All the salads come with at least a regular-sized (100g) in-house cooked meat, are high in protein, low carb, natural, unprocessed and filled with nutritious greens. They are served warm and packed separately with the dressing too.

Delivery is available from 11am to 1pm, and 5pm to 6pm from Monday to Friday and a minimum 24 hours for advance orders is encouraged. The minimum order is $30 and delivery charges are $4 or $6 depending on the distance and district.

You can order your fresh salads on your mobile or computer at Spinacas.
