Another year has gone by and the festive season is here again! Christmas is undoubtedly my favourite holiday and I love all the festivities that lead up to Christmas. This is also the time of the year that is most condonable for shopping, be it for oneself or for family and friends.

With all the parties and gatherings, fashion is definitely an integral part of the holiday season. So why not dress up for your run and get into the Christmas spirit?

To save you some time, we have put together our top 8 picks from the Nike collection for your perfect Christmas run this year. These products make great gifts too!

Outfit of the Week #27: Christmas Edition

“I Have Enough Clothes and Shoes”, Said No Woman Ever

In Singapore, Running is Far More Expensive For Women Than For Men. Thus, it is important to purchase the right gears to get your money’s worth! Read on to find out why these products make good Christmas gifts.

1. Because We Do Not Have Snow

Snow is almost unheard of in Singapore, with the country enjoying tropical and humid weather all year round. We do not get to experience snowball fights nor get to make snow angels out in the cold. Therefore, a breathable, performance fit is every runner’s dream come true.

The Nike Pro Hypercool Women’s Training Tank Top (SG$65) features engineered mesh and Dri-FIT fabric to keep you cool and comfortable during your workout.

It is suitable to be worn for training, and even more perfect for studio classes with the wide armholes and racerback profile that allow for a natural range of motion.

2. Athleisure Is the Way to Go

The Nike Bonded Top (SG$99) is an essential for all athleisure wardrobe. The combination of old school raglan sleeves with a flowy feature back makes it an elegant basic to change into after a run. How about more shopping?

3. All I Want for Christmas Is a Solution to Chafing

Designed for medium-impact activities such as cycling, dance and cardio classes, the Nike Pro Hyper Classic Padded Women’s Medium Support Sports Bra (SG$85) lets you move freely while helping you feel secure and supported.

With flat seams that move smoothly against your skin, run with ease without having to worry about chafing!

4. Combat Chafing from Top to Toe

With lined inside leg gusset for natural motion and flat seams that move smoothly against your skin, the Nike Pro HyperCool Women’s 3″ Training Shorts (SG$65) makes a great pair with the previous introduction to combat our biggest woes – abrasion.

The training shorts combine stretchy, sweat-wicking fabric and mesh side panels for streamlined comfort and ventilation during your workout.

A Gentleman Always Dresses for the Occasion

Dressing well is a form of good manners, even for a Christmas run! We recommend to dress well, but keep it simple. These gears from Nike will get you into the festive mood.

1. Green is THE Colour

Wouldn’t you agree that green is the classic colour to don for your Christmas run?

The Nike Dry Top Tailwind (SG$85) is a technical shirt made with high-performance, sweat-wicking fabric for total comfort from start to finish.

2. A Gift of Warmth

The Nike Tech Knit Windrunner (SG$359) is an athleisure wear that provides warmth with supreme comfort.

Originally released in 1978, the Windrunner is one of Nike’s most iconic designs. Updated to include the technical advances of Nike’s Tech Knit collection, this 2016 edition of Windrunner boasts an engineered, body-mapped fabric that works with the body to produce the ultimate in comfort.

3. Christmas is the Time to Chill

The Nike AeroSwift Men’s 5″ Running Shorts (SG$115) feature fast-drying fabric that helps reduce cling from sweat and a mesh waistband for added breathability in this high-heat zone.

Look forward to lasting comfort every mile with the Nike Flex fabric that stretches with your body to let you move freely without restriction, and flat, bonded hem and side seams that move smoothly against your skin to help eliminate distraction.

4. Run Rudolph Run

The Nike LunarEpic Low Flyknit Men’s Running Shoe (SG$255) is lightweight and breathable with targeted cushioning for a soft, effortless sensation underfoot.

The pressure-mapped, laser-cut outsole amplifies the cushioning where you need it, and disperses the impact across the entire foot for comfort and smoothness.

These featured products are available on nike.com and/or selected stores in Singapore.
