Seminyak, with its humble beginnings, has evolved into one of Bali’s most sophisticated beach destinations. It is home to some of the most chic resorts and villas on the island, alongside bustling shopping spots, luxury spas and not forgetting, its booming café culture.

Come October, locals and tourists alike will be able to catch the legendary sunsets and marvel at the Balinese ceremonies while participating in the town’s first ever charity fun run.

Organised by Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort, Seminyak’s inaugural charity fun run – 2016 Sunset Run, will be happening on Saturday, 29 October 2016.

Smell the Sea, Feel the Breeze, Hear the Ocean

The 2016 Sunset Run comprises of a short 3km run along Seminyak Beach where runners will be put through an idyllic experience. Just imagine feeling the ocean breeze against your face and witnessing tranquil waves splashing on the sea shore while running. Complemented with the sights of palm trees against the picturesque backdrop of the sunset, this one-of-its-kind charity run will offer runners an extraordinary experience.

Furthermore, all proceeds raised will be donated to two non-profit organisations in Bali – the Suryani Institute for Mental Illness, which is dedicated to improving the mental health system in Bali, and the Yayasan Senyum Bali, which helps people with craniofacial disabilities. Joining the Sunset Run 2016 will allow you to build good karma and generate happiness!

The Run is Catered for Singaporeans

Well, the statement does not come from the organiser but Singaporeans have got a substantial reason to believe so – 29 October is a public holiday!

Deepavali falls on Saturday, 29 October this year and Singaporeans will enjoy a long weekend with Monday, 31 October being a school holiday.

With so many cheap flights between Singapore and Bali, there is no better reason for non-Hindus to turn yourself down on a short getaway, furthermore for a meaningful cause at the 2016 Sunset Run!
