Energizer Singapore Night Trail 2014 Aims To Raise Over S$12,000 for SportCares Foundation
Trek through the jungles of Mandai, and you will be making a positive impact! The Energizer Singapore Night Trail 2014 will be held on 26 July 2014, and targets to raise over S$12,000 for adopted charity SportCares Foundation (SportCares) this year.
The organizers hope to attract at least 6,000 participants and a S$2 donation will be made to SportCares with every sign up. Last year’s event attracted 4,000 participants.
Race For A Brighter World
The Energizer Singapore Night Trail embodies Energizer’s belief that everyone has the power to make a positive impact. It is part of the Energizer Night Race for a Brighter World, which raises awareness for the global need for safe and affordable solar light for the 1.3 billion people in the world living without electricity.
Energizer has pledged 14 million hours of powerful, energy-efficient lighting this year to communities without access to electricity.
Locally, Energizer Singapore aims to continue powering lives by supporting SportCares Foundation, which aims to make a a difference by empowering people in need through sports.
From Night Trails To Family Fun Categories
The Energizer Singapore Night Trail features categories that enable different participants to enjoy their night trekking experience, equipped with a powerful Energizer Night Head-Lamp to guide their way. There are competitive trails of varying distances (6km, 12km, 18km), and an obstacle race. For families who want to experience spreading positive energy with their children, there are 1.5km and 3km parent & child obstacle race categories.
The Energizer Singapore Night Trail 2014 will be held on 26 July 2014. Early bird registration is open from now till 31 May 2014. Participants will enjoy up to 25% discounts off normal registration rates during this period. Registrations will close on 30 June 2014.
