Back for the third year running, GK Singapore is proud to announce that the annual Run to Build will be held on Sunday, 4 October 2015. Running by tranquil waters, fun run participants can opt for the 8.6 km (2 loops) or 4.3 km (1 loop) scenic route around Bedok Reservoir Park.

Proceeds from this year’s Homes, Hope, Humanity Run will go towards the GK movement in Singapore and support their local outreach and community building programs with the less privileged.

What’s GK? Well, it is short for Gawad Kalinga which means “to give care”. Founded in 2003 as a non-stock, non-profit organisation, Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation focuses on poverty eradication and community building. GK Singapore was registered in 2012 to increase GK’s advocacy of ending poverty for 5 million families and support its movement in the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Singapore.
