IJM Land will be organizing its third annual community run the charity IJM Land Run 2014 on Sunday, 21 September 2014. As part of IJM Land’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, IJM Land encourages all residents, customers, business associates and public to join the effort in caring for and serving the less fortunate.
Proceeds from the Run will be channelled to Pertubuhan Hospice Negeri Sembilan, and IJM Land will top up all donations with another RM$5,000.
School Holiday Fun for the Whole Family
Taking place during the September school holidays, the IJM Land Run 2014 promises to bring loads of fun for the whole family. Those not participating in the run can come and support their families and friends.
At the same time, they can enjoy the various side attractions and activities lined up such as free health screenings, free food sampling, superbikes display and attractive discounts at sponsors’ booths.
IJM Land Run Race Categories
This year, IJM Land targets 2,500 participants for the Charity Run and will flag off and finish at the IJM Land Seremban Office. Participation fees start from RM$18. Each participant will receive an exclusive K.SWISS dry fit running tee, a custom made finisher medal, an attractive goodies bag and e-certificate.
The Run is divided into 7 categories:
- A. 12km Men Open (18 – 44 years)
- B. 12km Men Veteran (45 years & above)
- C. 12km Women Open (18 – 39 years)
- D. 12km Women Veteran (40 years & above)
- E. 12km Boys Junior (13 – 17 years )
- F. 12km Girls Junior (13 – 17 years )
- G. 5km Fun Run (12 years & above)
The IJM Land Run 2014 is open to all Malaysians, PR and Expatriates with Malaysia work permit.
A non-competitive 5KM Fun Run will be introduced to encourage first-time runners or family with young kids to walk or run with the aim of promoting family / friendship bonding and healthy lifestyle.
Attractive Prizes for Winners and Lucky Draw Participants
The top prize of RM$500 cash, a trophy and Sworke Eyewear worth RM$680 will be awarded to first-place winners of Category A to D. First-place winners for Category E and F will receive RM$300 cash, a trophy and Sworke Eyewear worth RM$680.
Lucky draws with a total worth of more than RM$20,000 await participants who have completed their run. The Grand Prize will be a Samsung Galaxy S5.
