We’re willing to bet that 9 out of 10 of you are reading this article from a Facebook or Twitter link. Are we right?

If you’re a “Social Media Geek”, get set for the first social media fun run in Malaysia – MSMW Twitterthon! It’s part of Malaysia Social Media Week 2016, organised by non-profit organisation Social Media Chambers (SMC).

Originally slanted for 13 March, the 5 km fun run has been postponed to Sunday, 15 May 2016—good news if you haven’t signed up yet! Join 2,500 to 3,000 participants at the Lake Gardens, or officially known as Perdana Botanical Gardens, Kuala Lumpur’s first large-scale recreational park.

Snap, tweet and share your pictures as you run along to nine different check points along the route. Don’t forget to include #MSMW2016 and #MSMWTwitterthon!

Get your friends and family to ‘retweet’, ‘favourite’, ‘like’ or ‘share’ your posts – this is going to be the next, biggest trending event across all the social media platforms!

No social media account? Fret not, you’re still welcomed to come support and encourage healthy lifestyle by running and enjoying other activities.
