Just after a short three years, the annual 7 Sunshine Coast Marathon has gained a reputation for being one of Australia’s most loved running festivals. Set in charming Sunshine Coast, Queensland, this internationally-recognised road race is back on Sunday, 30 August 2015, and is anticipating a staggering 8,000 participants. Here’s why:

Something for Everyone

Comprising of the Channel 7 Marathon, McDonalds Half Marathon, Westpac 10km, Love & Partners 5km and the Queensland Government 2km, this mass festival welcomes every age and fitness level. Besides being AIMS-certified, the flat, fast and scenic course caters to all runners, who will feel supported in the infectiously energetic race atmosphere.

Whether it’s the elite international athletes chasing down prize money, age groupers pressing for their PB, first-time marathoners nervous about finishing strong or community teams passionate for their cause, you’ll find them all here. So whatever your personal challenges and running goals are, come join in the celebration of health and fitness!
